As your SBA president, I will take seriously the two basic responsibilities of the organization. First, I will represent the needs of both the GULC community at large as well as advocate on behalf of your individual concerns. Second, I will make it my personal mission to expand and enhance student activities and organizations on campus and around the city. The SBA has significant resources, including a very sizable budget, which must be apportioned more efficiently.

We must expand the SBA cabinet. We need a historian to publish transparent records, not only to know what has already been discussed but also to remind us of goals yet achieved. And, we should create a position to improve campus environmental practices like recycling. As well, we must also make serious efforts to reconnect the SBA with both the GULC administration and other student organizations. We can achieve more working together than by competing.

I know that I am at a disadvantage not being a part of a major ticket or party. But I consider this to be a very important personal strength. I will be able to meet the needs and demands of all Law Center students with a commitment only to the student will.
