• Instead of being obsessed with parliamentary procedure, SBA needs to allow easier channels for students directly to bring ideas to voting body. Meetings will be open, and all students will be able to put items on the agenda. SBA must be more than a political body full of endless delegate debate.
  • Students should be able to change their online Student Facebook pictures, to make it easier to learn one's classmates.
  • Start an inter-organizational council in which representatives from all organizations convene to coordinate meeting times and event schedules.
  • Rather than committing to a stiff agenda, the SBA must be flexible and responsive to evolving student needs.
  • SBA sponsors Bar Reviews that send students' money to local bars. Through effective organization and lobbying, we should be able to get drastically better deals than we are currently getting.
  • Where does the money go? The SBA has an extensive budget, but there is very little transparency and publicity in how that money is allotted.
  • I am proudly against the establishment. I am uncorrupted by the existing political landscape of the SBA and free from the interests of individual student factions. I am not affiliated with any SBA political party or ticket, nor do I have any interest in affiliating. Each candidate should be judged on his or her merits.
  • We need to focus more of our resources on programming and events on campus. Great campus space and resources are going to waste. We have amazing AV resources, great venues like the 12th floor of Gewirz, and a centralized location for all students. We need to use these resources to encourage campus life, and make campus a more common location for student fun.
  • The University currently mandates a health plan based on outdated Victorian morality, instead of on women's safety and rights. We can work to change that. Even if we can't make the University change its policies, SBA needs to work with progressive student groups to make students aware of other options for their reproductive health.
  • SBA experience is unnecessary. A President needs to be responsive to student needs, and must have the ability to carry out necessary changes.
  • The gym should be staffed with numerous personal fitness trainers that provide free services to the students, in addition to a much greater variety of free classes, such as Aikido, Fencing, Ballroom dancing, Basic Training, Brazilian Jujitsu.
  • The game room in Gewirz needs to be improved. We have the funds to make it more of a hang-out space, with video games, etc. Even changing the lighting in the room could encourage use. This would even help with recruitment.
  • We need more interaction with the SBAs of other schools. We have a lot in common, and a lot to learn from each other. We can create new relationships and pool our resources for programming and events.
  • Not enough people know what SBA does, nor why they do it. We need to publicize and be more open. SBA should be completely transparent and accessible.
  • I will add cabinet positions to get more things done. We have no historian to keep track of what we have done in the past. This officer would not only work to preserve our events and archive previous activities, but would also serve as a means to create a more transparent system that would lead to better-informed decisions in the future.
  • What else needs to be done? Let me know!
