Miracle Fruit Provider

The guy from whom I got the miracle fruit (a.k.a. my dealer) was very nice and called me today to make sure everything had gone well with the miracle fruit. I asked him whether it was alright if I gave out his contact info, and he said that would be great. He's quite the zealot. In his words, "Some day there will be miracle fruit in every household!"

He charged actual overnight shipping charges from Ft. Lauderdale, FL ($18.80 to D.C.), plus $5 handling. Then it was $1 per fruit. I got 75 fruits, so my total order came to $98.80, and I paid him by Paypal. So, here's how to get your very own miracle fruit. I suspect that he had no idea how inundated he was going to be, but oh well. He posted his contact info here, anyway, so here goes:

Curtis Mozie 410 SW 29th Terrace Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312 U.S.A.

Telephone: +1-954-587-3766
Mobile: +1-954-270-7884

Miracle fruit trees, fruit, and seeds or seedlings available by request.

Also available by email at pearlcurtmozie AT bellsouth d.o.t. net

It sounds like tripping for your tastebuds. I totally want to play, so I have a new goal in life :P

Yeah, it's definitely quite an experience.

How many fruits did you end up eating per person? (how much should I order??)

Posted by: Seedy at February 6, 2007 2:27 AM

Just one per person is enough, and the effect lasts about half an hour.

Posted by: Barzelay at February 6, 2007 10:18 AM

Order quick. The price is going up -- now's he's charging higher fees for shipping ... and he quoted me $1.80 per fruit -- an increase of 80% over the price reference on this site.

Posted by: Mark McElroy at February 6, 2007 12:48 PM

I'm sorry about that, Mark. That sucks. But I can't imagine that he could possibly have enough plants to supply all the people who emailed me yesterday asking for his contact info. And that was before I posted the contact info and it went up on BoingBoing. I'd imagine he's going to run out very quickly, unless he has acres of these things.

Make sure that you peel the bean-like fruit, and then roll it all around your tongue for 1 minute. Spit out the seed and you're ready for a taste sensation unlike any other!

Posted by: Allie at February 6, 2007 8:00 PM

That's false. You don't need to peel it. You just need to chew it and rub the pulp all over your tongue for a full minute before spitting or swallowing (either way, spit out the pit).

HOw long did it take to ship to your place? I want to order some and try it before I go on vacation at the end of next week

Posted by: Myster Miracle Fruit at April 12, 2007 7:11 PM

He ships it overnight. The berries spoil very soon after being picked.

Posted by: David Barzelay at April 12, 2007 10:36 PM

I can't believe people actually charge $1.80 for each fruit. I have a tree that bare fruits faster than weeds. I'm from Florida. It's great to have mojito without sugar. The sweet effect actually last 3 to 5 hours. The frozen berries work as well as the fresh pick. All you really need is one berry each times.

Linh Recco,

Care to sell some of your berries, then?

Maybe the sellers on here should try freezedrying them to see how long they hold up that way. Isnt hard to do with dry ice.
