Be My Anti-Valentine

Check out these anti-Valentine's Day cards. I think that the one to the right is hilarious.

Anyway, I think of myself as fairly romantic and willing to put my heart out there, though I can imagine some people disagreeing. Nevertheless, Valentine's Day does not in any way stir me or make me feel extra specially in lurve. In other words, it's just as stupid a holiday as all the rest.

Except Martin Luther King Day, because only racists think that's a stupid holiday, and I'm not racist. I'm friends with a black person.

A couple of my friends were just talking about how Valentine's Day really shouldn't exist because it only serves to make single people feel worse about being single, and it makes couples somehow disappointed usually that it's not more special and wonderful and unique... If anything, couples have a fairly decent day, but not usually anything over the top - and singles have a miserable day. That does not add up to something that seems worthwhile...

I wouldn't disagree...I just got pissed 'cause you did Slant production on Valentine's Day :o) but you were plenty romantic with the pearls for Big Band Ball, which totally made up for it. You'll always be the boyfriend by which all others are measured, and found less fonny.
