In my Top Albums post, I mentioned that The Candy Bars' lead singer looks just like my good friend Chris Santoro. Well, I'd say this picture is dispositive of the issue. Chris is on the left. Also, they have identical speaking voices, and they both, apparently, do really well with the ladies.

I am compelled to clear something up here. Mr. Martinez had actually served some of my friends a local tampa restaurant, the Laughing Cat, and it creeped them out because they claimed he had the same mannerisms as me as well. So when David told him this, he said "So you're really charming then, right?" to which I replied "Yeah, you get all the ladies too, right?"
That's what David is referencing there with the Ladies comment. That or he's just saying that we're both hideous. At least Daniel is an awesome musician.

Aw, come on. I wasn't being sarcastic, I was just referencing that conversation. I think Daniel Martinez does get the ladies. They just probably break up with him a lot, and that drives the music.
