I love The Big Sleep and The Long Goodbye, and wouldn't mind seeing the whole series of novels filmed. And they're supposedly gonna do it in period, which is the only way it can be done. I think Clive Owen is the perfect Philip Marlowe, even better than Bogart. Only question I have is about the accent. Is Clive gonna play a British private eye, or an American?
