Question - what kind of (digital) camera do you have? I've decided it's time to trade up. Suggestions?

I have two. One is my "portable" digital camera, which is friggin' tiny. It is 5 megapixels, but doesn't do that well in any situations that aren't extremely well lit. It's a Casio Exilim EX-S500. But again, it is tiny. The pictures on this page are taken with it. It's tough to get anything not to be blurry with the camera, but it takes GREAT videos, with GREAT sound. The ones on here are compressed to hell. I have a love/hate relationship with this camera.

My other camera, I've had for 3 or 4 years now, but I still love it. It's a Canon Powershot A75, 3 megapixels. But the lens is much larger, which means it does much better in low light situations (which is 80% of the time you'd be taking pictures) and pictures are generally much more in focus. The downside is that it's a much larger camera. It easily fit into a purse, but not into a pocket. I got the other camera just for taking around with me at all times in a pocket. But, the newer models of my beloved Canon are apparently much thinner. I'd recommend one of those if you can stand it not being all that comfortable in a pocket.

I looked at the Casio. I'm pretty conderned about blurring, since I tend to try to take pictures of things that are moving (yes, my dog).

I've been looking that this - it has a lot of dumb features, like all sorts of "special effects," which are sort of pointless if you have photo editing software. It gets good reviews though. And it's PRETTY!

I am extremely conderned. I want to make clear my condernation. Har.

Yeah, I can't really recommend the Casio. Stick with Canon. The one to which you linked is quite small though, which means it may have similar problems in low light, due to having a small lens. Other than that, it's probably fine.
