Spring Concerts

I'm excited about some of the spring concerts, particularly Animal Collective, Stars, and Wu-Tang. I'm posting this so other people know, and so I can keep track of it, but I will keep adding to this throughout the semester, linking to this, and bumping it to the top. Let me know if you want to go to any of these.

Underlining means I already bought tickets.
Strikethrough means it's either already happened or it's sold out.

I'd come up to see Stars or Electric Six.

I already have my LTJ tickets...just found out about RJD2...I'll probably be there too.

In case you're interested in either, Flogging Molly is playing 9:30 on Feb. 21st and 22nd (I believe), and Dropkick Murphys will be somewhere in Baltimore March 15th.

I want to see Metric and Stars. Oh wait, you probably mean to ask whether anyone wants to see them in DC. Yea, that would make it pricey...

The issue with Less Than Jake is that I've already seen them like eleven or twelve times (I'm from FL, they're from FL). Maybe I'll still go. Now that I know someone else who's going, that helps. I've also seen Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphy's a couple times each. I'm not a huge fan of either, though I think they're alright.

Michelle, you should come *down* to see Stars. I'm not sure whether I'll be going to Electric Six. I did just dance to "Gay Bar" tonight in Tampa to that song, though, and it is catchy.

Dude, I'm soooo in for seeing Wu. When I saw them in Detroit about 5 years ago, they went for over three and a half hours. Amazing. Granted there were 9 of them (they were sans ODB, but had Streetlife and Masta Killa with them), but 3.5+ hours is still impressive.

Hey dude, check out Soul Position if you're into RJD2. Soul Position is RJD2 and Blueprint, on Minneapolis' Rhymesayers label mostly known for Atmosphere. If you like that there's a lot of other good artists on that label.
