Seven Deadly Sins

• Pride - I'm done with my first semester of law school, including exams. Despite studying less than is probably even conceivable for most law students, I think I did very well on my Contracts and Torts exams. I had a lot of fun writing my Contracts exam, which, though perhaps only passable on the law, had to be one of the most eloquent and humorous exams Robin West will ever read. This boasting is tempered by the fact that I did beyond shitty on my Civil Procedure exam.
• Avarice - My birthday is December 19, and I can't wait for glorious pwesents! I will be twenty-three, and would love to get birthday calls from everyone and all that shit. After that, Christmas is just around the corner, which means more pwesents! I need some money or else no one is getting Christmas gifts. Also, if I actually know you, leave a comment with your mailing address, and you will get something from me.
• Envy - Any opinions on this camera vs. this camera? I think I've narrowed it down to those two. But what I really want is this camera.
• Wrath - I'm going camping this weekend with Carrie Crouch, Chris Santoro, Kevin Counce (our fearless Eagle Scout leader), Ben Simpson, and their friend "Asian Mike." I love camping, and I love the outdoors. But if any raccoons fuck with my shit, let's just say that Claire better not watch.
• Lust - I've never been one to have sexual dreams. I'm just not very repressed. I can count on one hand the number of overtly sexual dreams I've had in my life. But in the last few days, I've been having nothing but sexual dreams, or at least dreams with sexual elements. I kept waking up last night, and every time I woke up, I would realize that in the dream I was just having, I was either hooking up with or trying to hook up with someone else.
• Gluttony - I've definitely been intemperate lately. Monday night, I neglected to eat dinner, because I was already wasted after my last exam, but wow I drank a lot. First time getting sick this year. It wasn't even an earned sick, I just had an empty stomach.

  Tuesday night, Jeanette took me to McCormick & Schmick's, a somewhat-fancy seafood restaurant, where I ate delicious rainbow trout in a creamy butter sauce, topped with crab meat and shittake mushrooms.

  Wednesday I was in Ronald Reagan airport, and the line for security was very long, and was right next to Legal Sea Foods. Z held our place in line, while I went in and got a crab cake sandwich, clam chowder, and fries, to go, and then ate it on the plane. Delicious.

  Then last night, my Uncle and his girlfriend were in town, so my family went out to eat with them and my grandmother at Fat Willie's Fish Camp (now shortened to just Willie's). All-you-can-eat fried shrimp, catfish, mahi-mahi, crawfish tails, alligator tail, etc. So good. That little place in the middle of nowhere has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants for my entire life. I have pretty high standards for my seafood, and it continues not to disappoint.

• Sloth - It's Christmas break, and I'm home in Tampa. That means gradually staying up later and later, going to bed when my parents wake up, sleeping all day, lazying around, etc. Occasionally, I'll be playing drums, tennis with my family, or going out to Ybor with people, but for the most part, just being lazy. I'm here until the 30th, so let me know if you're in town.
