I actually thought it was kind of dumb. I clicked your link, which took me to a blog saying the same thing with a link, and I quickly thought, "the David Barzelay I know would never link to someone else's link without there being some reason/explanation." I think I clicked once more, then closed it. Stupid is my final answer.

Well, I checked how deep it goes, actually. There are about twenty links or so until you get into a four-link loop. That loop was apparently the start of the joke. It was, I suppose, originally intended to be merely that loop of four that people would keep clicking through.

Hehe. Okay, I'm mildly amused. I did check to see how far it went though. It does end at some point. Someone who had been part of the chain deleted their livejournal... oh well. It amused me anyhow. :)
